Avatr unveiled its T09 flagship SUV concept on October 11 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in France. The model is the first in a new flagship series and is aimed at the 500,000-yuan (about US$74,600) luxury SUV segment. Avatr says it plans to launch the vehicle in 2026. The concept is displayed at the show alongside the Avatr 06T and 07L; the event runs from October 12 to 18.

The T09 introduces Avatr’s Vision Xpectra design language. Its front grille incorporates 362 raised Avatr logo elements, while the lighting uses dual-layer, diamond-cut crystal arrays. The concept also has a 2.1-square-meter clamshell hood. Inside, a retractable, curved 360-degree “Vortex” interaction system contains 118 RGB LED matrix lights. The cockpit combines a 10.25-inch instrument display with two 17.2-inch screens for the centre console and front passenger.

Avatr lists a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and three electric motors in an intelligent hybrid powertrain, with total output above 1,000 hp. The battery is a 71.24-kWh CATL Freevoy unit, and the stated CLTC electric-only range exceeds 400 km. The vehicle also integrates Huawei’s Qiankun driver-assistance system and Changan’s Taihang control technology.

Avatr says it operates in 70 countries and regions and that its average selling price exceeds 300,000 yuan. It reports a 10% share of Egypt’s high-end EV segment and the top position in Thailand’s luxury pure-electric SUV market with the Avatr 11. Its 2030 target is to enter more than 110 countries and regions, with overseas sales exceeding half of total volume.
