BYD will launch the Da Han EV in China on October 13, positioning the electric sedan above the existing Han EV in its Dynasty lineup. Pre-sales began in August at 249,900–299,900 yuan (about US$35,300–42,400), and deliveries are due to start within two weeks of the launch. Final retail prices and delivery details have yet to be announced.

The Da Han measures 5,256 mm long and has a 3,130 mm wheelbase. Its reported drag coefficient is 0.197 Cd. All versions use a 102.3 kWh second-generation LFP Blade Battery. The rear-wheel-drive Premium and Flagship versions produce 370 kW and offer up to 1,008 km of CLTC range; the Premium is rated at 11.5 kWh per 100 km. The all-wheel-drive Flagship delivers 570 kW, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has an 880 km CLTC range. BYD says compatible high-output chargers can take the battery from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.

Standard equipment includes rear-wheel steering, dual-chamber DiSus-A air suspension and the DiPilot driver-assistance system, with roof-mounted LiDAR. The cabin has a 17.3-inch 3K display and a 31-speaker Devialet audio system. The launch comes as sales of BYD’s existing Han models have weakened: the Han recorded 2,997 deliveries in August, while the Han L recorded 205, according to the figures cited in the report.
