BYD says its Dynasty series has reached 10 million cars produced in China, 13 years after the first model, the Qin, entered the domestic market. The milestone car is the Da Han flagship sedan. The lineup now spans six nameplates: Tang, Han, Qin, Song, Yuan and Xia.
Cumulative Dynasty sales rose from 8.86 million in January 2026 to around 10 million by September, according to the company. BYD said the series made up about 9 million of its first 15 million new-energy vehicle sales, with the Ocean series accounting for roughly 6 million.
The Da Han measures 5,256 mm long and has a 3,130 mm wheelbase. Its single-motor version is rated at 370 kW and offers up to 1,008 km of CLTC range; the all-wheel-drive version produces 570 kW and is rated for 880 km. The model starts at 249,900 yuan.
