BYD has brought its Flash Charging system to Indonesia, with the technology now available at 10 Danza dealerships. One location is Danza Arista PIK 2 in Tangerang, Banten, where the facility was presented as part of a wider expansion of the dealer network. The system, introduced on October 14, 2026, is rated at up to 1,500 kW per charging gun.
BYD says Flash Charging can take a compatible vehicle’s battery from 10% to 97% in nine minutes. A five-minute session is claimed to raise the charge from 10% to 70%. The system is currently limited to the Danza New D9 and Z9GT, both of which use BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery.
The PIK 2 dealership also has four public fast-charging units, offers advice on installing home chargers, and includes showrooms, a customer lounge and after-sales service from certified technicians. Its opening formed part of Arista Group’s launch of 20 new BYD and Danza dealerships. The group says its network now spans more than 45 locations across Indonesia. BYD representatives described the rollout as part of building out the country’s new-energy vehicle ecosystem, and cited more than 110,000 Indonesian families as having placed their trust in the brand.
