Fang Cheng Bao, BYD's mid-to-high-end sub-brand, has released a video previewing the cabin of its upcoming Ti 9 shortly before the full-size crossover goes on sale in China. The SUV stretches 5,270 mm long on a 3,130 mm wheelbase, carries a 66.5 kWh battery, and will be offered in three seating layouts.
The clip shows a dashboard dominated by a 30-inch floating touchscreen, backed by a digital instrument cluster and a head-up display. White upholstery with golden detailing runs through the cabin, the gear selector sits behind the steering wheel, and the center tunnel holds a wireless charging pad, dual cupholders and blocks of physical switches. Ambient lighting, suede-trimmed A-pillars and headliner, and a refrigerator built into the armround — which second-row occupants are expected to reach — round out the package.
Despite rugged styling cues such as a ring-shaped daytime running light, vertical taillights and muscular fenders, the Ti 9 is a monocoque design. It rides on 22-inch wheels, carries a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, and gets DiSus-P Ultra hydraulic suspension plus rear-wheel steering.
A 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 115 kW works with dual electric motors for a combined 400 kW. BYD claims up to 310 km of electric driving, 10–97% charging in nine minutes via its flash-charging system, and 2,300 km of total range. Fang Cheng Bao delivered 32,797 vehicles in August 2026, with the smaller Ti 7 accounting for 23,471 of those, and it looks likely the Ti 9 will follow it overseas as the BYD Ti 9.
