At the 2026 Paris Motor Show in France, Changan showcased new electrified vehicles and technologies as part of a broader push to grow beyond China. Its displays included BlueCore Ultra Hybrid in the CS55 Plus HEV, the European debut of the fully electric Nevo Q05, and the world premiere of the AVATR CONCEPT T09, a preview of the premium brand’s approach to intelligent mobility.

BlueCore Ultra Hybrid uses Changan’s iDE-H architecture and does not require plugging in to recharge. The company says the system is intended to combine lower fuel consumption with responsive performance and quieter operation. Changan also highlighted its Deepal range, including the S05 and S07, as part of a portfolio spanning family vehicles and premium offerings. In China, the Nevo Q05 had led its compact SUV segment in sales for six consecutive months, according to the company.

Changan reported worldwide sales of 2.9 million vehicles in 2025, up 8.5% year on year. New-energy vehicles accounted for about 1.1 million units, a 51% increase, while sales outside China reached 637,000, up 18.9%. In Chile, the company led plug-in hybrid sales through August 2026, with 1,539 vehicles and a 26.5% market share, citing ANAC data.

Under its Vast Ocean plan, Changan aims to launch more than 40 global models and build international production capacity of over 800,000 units. The company says it has operations in more than 60 countries and a research network of nine centers across five countries. It cautioned that showing vehicles in Paris does not mean every model is confirmed for sale in Chile.
