Chery will promote the Tiggo 9 and Tiggo 8 PHEV at the Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2026, taking place at Setia City Convention Centre in Malaysia on October 31 and November 1. The Tiggo 9 gets an RM18,000 rebate, bringing its price to RM179,800.
The seven-seat flagship uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 256 PS and 390 Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Its listed equipment includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen, 14 Sony speakers, 10 airbags and a full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. Warranty coverage comprises seven years or 150,000 km for the vehicle, 10 years or 1,000,000 km for the engine, and five years of free labour servicing.
For buyers seeking a smaller seven-seat option, Chery lists the Tiggo 8 PHEV at RM159,800. Its Super Hybrid setup combines a 1.5-litre turbo engine, an electric motor and a dedicated hybrid transmission, with claimed combined range of 1,200 km and electric-only range of 90 km. Alongside a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, it receives an extended 10-year battery warranty.
ACE 2026 will feature brands from across the market. The first 200 confirmed bookings are eligible for RM2,500 in vouchers, and confirmed bookings also enter a prize draw with rewards valued at RM57,000. Admission to the two-day event is free.
