DFSK presented the E5 Plus plug-in hybrid SUV at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Held at JIExpo Kemayoran from October 29 to November 1, the event gave visitors a chance to see the model, which is positioned as an option for drivers interested in electrification but not ready to rely entirely on public charging.

The E5 Plus combines an electric motor with a petrol engine. Its 25 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery is claimed to support up to 140 km of electric-only driving under the NEDC test cycle. With the battery and fuel tank full, DFSK claims a combined driving range of up to 1,400 km. The petrol engine can therefore provide additional flexibility on longer journeys, while electric power can be used for everyday trips.

The cabin seats six and uses captain’s chairs. Listed comfort features include a panoramic sunroof, a 15.6-inch entertainment screen and ventilated seats in the first and second rows. The SUV also has Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), according to the report.

DFSK is presenting the E5 Plus as a family vehicle that combines electrified driving with the long-distance convenience of a petrol engine. The article provides no price or sale date.
