DFSK is reshaping its commercial-vehicle business in Indonesia through a new visual identity, electric models and local production. The company introduced a dedicated emblem for its commercial lineup at the 2026 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) in Kemayoran, Jakarta, presenting it as a way to distinguish products aimed at business users. PT Sokonindo Automobile COO Franz Wang said the vehicles support customers’ day-to-day business operations, adding that the identity update would not change the company’s commitment to product quality and aftersales service.
DFSK also pointed to the Gelora E as part of its push into electric commercial vehicles. The model is offered as a Blind Van or Minibus, for cargo or passenger transport. Depending on the variant, it has a 38 kWh or 42 kWh battery and a claimed range of up to 300 km under the NEDC test cycle. The battery warranty is five years or 200,000 km, while the vehicle warranty is three years or 120,000 km.
The company’s Indonesian manufacturing base is PT Sokonindo Automobile’s plant in Cikande, Banten, which has operated since 2017. Around 90% of production processes there are supported by robotic systems, which DFSK says help maintain consistent quality and improve efficiency. The company also cited its dealer network and aftersales support as important to commercial-vehicle customers.
