Geely Holding has announced a global strategic partnership with Google to integrate Google Automotive Services into vehicles from its brands in international markets where Google services are available. The first vehicle applications are planned for the second half of 2027, initially in markets outside China and the United States. Rollout will depend on each region’s regulatory requirements, product readiness and other local conditions.
The planned service package includes Google Gemini, Google Play and Google Maps, alongside voice assistance, navigation, connectivity across devices and access to apps. Geely says further details on compatible models, features, markets and timing will be released as the rollout progresses. Customers are advised to check local brand websites and authorized sales channels for updates.
The agreement extends existing links between Google and companies in Geely Holding’s portfolio. The Polestar 2, for example, has offered integrated Google services since 2020. The new arrangement is expected to cover brands including Geely, Lynk & Co, Proton, Riddara and Smart. The announcement does not identify specific models for the planned 2027 rollout.
