Geely Galaxy has launched the Cruiser 700, its first rugged off-road SUV, in China. The plug-in hybrid is offered in six versions, including a Land Ark special edition. Official prices span RMB 189,800 to RMB 379,800; purchase incentives bring introductory prices to RMB 179,800–369,800, while eligible buyers using a trade-in subsidy can pay RMB 169,800–359,800. The lowest limited-time price is about US$25,220.

Geely Galaxy said firm orders topped 10,000 within 12 minutes of the launch. That is distinct from the 43,900 reservations recorded in the first hour of pre-sales, which opened on September 15. The model first appeared on July 24. Its launch puts Geely Galaxy into a segment that includes BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao and GWM’s Tank brands.

Built on Geely’s GTA architecture for new-energy off-road vehicles, the five-seat SUV measures 5,085 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and has a 2,900 mm wheelbase. Powertrain choices include a 1.5-liter turbo engine with two-wheel drive and a single electric motor, producing 350 kW, and triple-motor four-wheel-drive setups with outputs of 690 kW or, with a 2.0-liter engine, 830 kW. The strongest version is rated for 0–100 km/h in 3.95 seconds. Depending on configuration, CLTC electric range is 270–305 km, with combined range reaching 1,770 km.

The 1.5-liter versions use a 47.14-kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL and support peak 6C charging. Geely Galaxy sold 130,479 vehicles in September, its highest monthly total of 2026 so far, while Geely Auto reported 2,235,481 sales in the first nine months, up 3.01% year on year.
