The Galaxy M9, Geely's full-size three-row plug-in hybrid that previously drew praise from Edmunds and The New York Times, is now open for pre-orders in the UAE under the simplified name Geely M9. A single trim is offered, with the vehicle priced at 159,900 AED ($43,540) and a 5,000 AED ($1,360) deposit required to book.
Propulsion comes from a tri-motor hybrid setup built around a 1.5-liter engine, producing 640 kW (858 hp) combined and enabling a 4.5-second run to 100 km/h. The 41.46 kWh battery delivers 210 km of CLTC electric range (172 km WLTP), while total range exceeds 1,100 km.
The cabin seats six in a 2+2+2 layout and features a 30-inch screen, a 32-inch augmented-reality head-up display and a 17.3-inch roof-mounted display, along with a fridge, a fold-out table for the right-hand second-row passenger and 27 speakers. At 5,205 mm long, the SUV rides on dual-chamber air suspension that adjusts ground clearance by up to 95 mm, and cargo capacity spans 328 to 2,171 liters depending on the seat configuration.
Pricing puts the M9 below the Kia Telluride (from $44,575) and Honda Pilot (from $47,925) in the UAE, though slightly above the Nissan Pathfinder ($43,020). It is notably dearer than at home, where Chinese prices equate to $27,440–$37,150 — and with domestic sales down 25.8% year-on-year at 29,980 units from January to August 2026, Geely has clear reason to push the model overseas.
