Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) sold 1,023 vehicles in September 2026, its first month above 1,000 units and the highest monthly total since it began operating as a direct subsidiary of Geely Auto International. The result could place Geely among the Philippines’ five largest new-vehicle sellers, but that position remains unconfirmed pending official figures from CAMPI-TMA members.

Electrified models dominated the tally. The all-electric EX2 contributed 470 units, while the EX5 EM-i Super Hybrid added 345; together, the two accounted for nearly 80% of the month’s sales. Other reported model totals were 76 Okavangos, 53 Coolrays, 31 EX5s, 26 GX3 Pros and 22 Emgrands. GMP credited its nationwide dealer network, particularly MG Gateway Group, ANC+ Group of Companies and D&J Auto, for supporting the result.

The company expects sales momentum to continue through the rest of 2026. It is preparing to launch the Monjaro EM-i, a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV with five seats, and expects its price to fall between PHP 2 million and PHP 2.5 million. GMP also plans to operate Lynk & Co as an official brand, broadening its portfolio in the Philippines.
