Geely Holding Group says it will bring Google Gemini, Google Maps and Google Play to passenger vehicles in overseas markets starting in the second half of 2027. The company announced a global partnership with Google on October 16, 2026, and said the first model with the services onboard is due to reach the global market in H2 2027. Geely has not disclosed which model will debut them.

The planned digital-cockpit ecosystem will let drivers use Google navigation, voice commands and apps downloaded through Google Play. Geely CTO Shen Yuan said the services could also help drivers find destinations and nearby charging stations, as well as handle other routine tasks. The rollout is intended for markets where Google services are available; the announcement did not specify individual countries.

The agreement adds to Geely’s efforts to develop digital and entertainment features for its international vehicles. Its premium brand Zeekr previously partnered with AirConsole on cloud-based in-car gaming and signed a cooperation agreement with 3 Screen Solutions in April 2026 to develop a media platform based on Android Automotive OS. Geely Holding’s portfolio includes Geely, Geely Galaxy, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, Smart, Farizon, Proton, LEVC and Riddara.
