Geely has previewed the Monjaro EM-i, a new plug-in hybrid SUV scheduled to make its European debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in France. The show runs from October 12 to 18. Images released ahead of the event show the vehicle’s side profile, headlamps and wheel design, as well as its rear, where an LED light bar stretches across the tailgate beneath Geely lettering. The cabin is expected to include a large touchscreen infotainment system.

The Monjaro EM-i is built on Geely’s GEA-Evo architecture, which the company says supports multiple types of new-energy powertrains, flexible use of interior space and high safety standards. The platform incorporates the automaker’s GEEA 3.0 electrical architecture. Power comes from Geely’s EM-i Super Hybrid system, which the company describes as designed to balance performance and efficiency. No output, battery capacity, electric range or other detailed specifications were provided in the preview.

The model will add to Geely’s electrified range alongside the E2, E5 and E5 EM-i. Geely Auto UK managing director Michael Yang said the Paris appearance would present the company’s current direction and its plans for more intelligent, electrified and globally connected vehicles. The company has not confirmed whether the Monjaro EM-i will be offered in South Africa.
