Geely has signed its 100th UK retail outlet less than a year after entering the market. The new site, Evans Halshaw Geely Mansfield, was agreed with dealership group Lithia. The milestone brings Geely to its previously stated target of 100 UK dealerships by the end of 2026, although the company has not said how many signed outlets are already open to customers.

Lithia operates more than 160 stores in the UK, according to Geely, and Evans Halshaw is part of the group. Geely said the partners extended their cooperation to Mansfield, Glasgow and Newcastle after strong sales at their first outlet in Lincolnshire.

The network build-out has coincided with rising sales registrations. Geely’s cumulative UK registrations exceeded 10,000 in its first 11 months, including more than 5,000 in September 2026. The company has also been developing corporate sales: in August it added the all-electric EX2, called Xingyuan in China, to the salary-sacrifice leasing program run by Tusker, part of Lloyds Banking Group. By that month, Geely had introduced the EX2, EX5 electric SUV and Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid SUV in the UK.

The UK push is part of Geely’s wider overseas expansion. The automaker raised its 2026 export target to 920,000 vehicles from 640,000 at an August earnings briefing. It exported 797,670 vehicles from January through September, up 169.37% year on year, while domestic sales fell 23.28%, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
