Jetour has introduced the F700 plug-in hybrid pickup in China, and the model could expand the Chery Group brand’s lineup in Brazil. Its industrial designs were registered with Brazil’s INPI, but Jetour has not confirmed a local launch; the article says a Brazilian arrival could come in 2027. The truck was shown during a Chery Group event in Wuhu, China.

The F700 uses the G700 SUV’s hybrid setup: a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 211 hp and two electric motors, with combined output of 904 hp and all-wheel drive. A 35.4-kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL is said to provide up to 150 km of electric range under China’s CLTC test cycle and a combined range of up to 1,300 km. Jetour also cites 800-volt electrical architecture, charging at up to 400 kW and a 20-to-80% charge in about 10 minutes under ideal conditions. These figures have not been certified for Brazil.

At 5.495 meters long, the F700 is larger than several established midsize pickups. Chinese regulatory data cited in the report indicate payload capacity of 181–223 kg, while towing capacity is listed at 3,500 kg. The cabin features a 15.6-inch multimedia screen and a 35.4-inch panoramic display; Chinese versions include either five seats or four individual seats.

If sold in Brazil, the F700 would enter a segment beginning to add electrified rivals, including a future Volkswagen Amarok and a planned Ford Ranger PHEV. The article also notes the BYD Shark’s limited Brazilian sales compared with the Hilux and Ranger, underscoring the challenge of winning over pickup buyers. The F700’s relatively low payload may make it better suited to recreation and technology-focused buyers than heavy-duty work.
