Auto Express has highlighted a UK leasing offer for Leapmotor’s B05 electric hatchback, with the deal available through its Buy A Car service and leasing provider e-car lease. The two-year contract costs £214.76 per month with an annual limit of 5,000 miles, after an initial payment of £2,757.12 based on 12 months’ payments. Choosing a nine-month initial payment lowers the upfront amount to £2,294.01, while monthly payments rise to £234.89.
Drivers can raise the annual mileage allowance to 8,000 miles. That adds £13.92 per month to the 12-month-upfront option, or £15.22 to the nine-month-upfront version. The publication notes that the offers are subject to terms, availability and change.
The B05 is offered in a single, highly equipped trim. Standard features include electrically adjustable front seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunblind, and 64-colour ambient lighting. Its electric motor produces 215bhp and draws power from a 67.1kWh battery; Leapmotor claims a 300-mile range, and a heat pump is fitted as standard.
Positioned as a rival to the Volkswagen ID.3 Neo, the B05 is described as less engaging to drive than the Renault Megane E-Tech, but quiet and refined. The article frames its equipment and lease pricing as central to its value appeal in the UK market.
