Leapmotor has begun selling the B10 Ultra-Hybrid in Brazil, adding a range-extender version to the mid-size SUV’s previously electric-only local lineup. Priced at R$179,990, the model is available in the brand’s showrooms, where customers can also arrange test drives and ask about purchase and financing terms.
The REEV setup uses a rear electric motor producing 218 hp and 24.5 kgfm, supported by an 18.8 kWh battery. A 1.5-liter gasoline engine serves only as a generator to supply energy to the battery; the wheels remain driven electrically. Leapmotor cites a combined range of approximately 900 km under the WLTP cycle.
Safety and driver-assistance equipment includes seven airbags, a body structure using steels of different strengths, and Leap Pilot Level 2 assistance. Listed features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot alerts and cross-traffic assistance.
The cabin includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a digital instrument display, electrically adjustable front seats, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The sound system is rated at 840 watts and has 12 speakers plus a subwoofer. The screen also provides access to drive and energy-management settings and 360-degree camera views.
