Lynk & Co has released official images of the 2027 08 EM-P, an updated mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV set to debut in China on November 5. The photos show a vivid orange finish, although the company has not announced the paint color’s official name. The current model is priced in China from 175,800 to 228,800 yuan (about 681,000 to 886,000 dong, according to the source). It sold 1,441 units in China in September 2026, after previously serving as one of the brand’s sales mainstays alongside the 03 sedan.

The key anticipated change is a longer electric-only driving range. The model currently offers a 38.2-kWh LFP battery with a maximum CLTC-rated electric range of 230 km; media reports cited in the source suggest the updated version could reach around 300 km. A switch to an NMC battery has also been raised as a possibility, but neither that change nor the range figure has been confirmed by Lynk & Co.

Current Chinese-market front-wheel-drive versions pair a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an electric motor for 402 hp, and offer 28.3- or 38.2-kWh LFP batteries. The top all-wheel-drive variant adds a rear motor, producing 612 hp, while its electric range is 210 km CLTC. Equipment includes roof-mounted lidar, cameras and other sensors, plus driver-assistance computing hardware from Nvidia; the range supports urban and highway navigation assistance.

In Vietnam, the 08 EM-P was introduced in October 2025, priced at 1.299 billion to 1.389 billion dong. Vietnamese-market cars use a 39.6-kWh NMC battery and are listed with 200 km of electric range and up to 1,400 km of total range when fuel and electricity are combined.
