Dongchedi said all three vehicles suffered bracket fractures while braking from 100 km/h to a stop. According to the testers, the first failure occurred on the third attempt, the second on the fourth, and the third vehicle—which had been bought new—failed on its second attempt. They said the foot brakes could not be used normally after the fractures and that they stopped the vehicles using the emergency-braking function activated by the Park button.
