Omoda Jaecoo Carro in Malaysia is running a prize draw for customers who buy the Jaecoo J5 EV. The “Go Electric & Win” campaign is open from Nov. 4 to Dec. 31, 2026, and three winners will each receive an iPhone Duo. To qualify, customers must test-drive the SUV at the showroom, place a booking and register the vehicle by Dec. 31. The participating outlet is Omoda Jaecoo | Carro 3S Selayang in Batu Caves, Selangor, which is listed as open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The locally assembled J5 EV is built in Shah Alam and went on sale in Malaysia on Sept. 2 at RM118,800, on the road without insurance. Its front-mounted motor produces 211 PS and 288 Nm, while a 58.9-kWh CATL LFP battery provides a claimed WLTP range of 402 km. Jaecoo quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h. DC charging peaks at 130 kW, with a 30–80% charge taking about 28 minutes; AC charging is rated at 11 kW.
Equipment includes a 13.2-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six airbags and Level 2+ driver assistance. The vehicle warranty is seven years or 150,000 km, and the battery warranty is 10 years or 200,000 km. Advertised instalments are estimated from RM1,195 per month, based on a 10% down payment, a nine-year loan and a 2.3% annual interest rate.
