MG is offering a R$39,000 discount on the S5 Comfort in Brazil through November 30. The 2027-model-year electric SUV falls from R$218,800 to R$179,800—R$190 less than the listed R$179,990 price of a Nissan Kicks Exclusive 1.0 turbo. The higher-spec S5 Luxury also has a discount, though its price has been reduced by R$19,000 to R$219,800.

The S5 measures 4,476 mm long, with a 2,734 mm wheelbase, and has 453 litres of luggage capacity. Comfort equipment includes six airbags, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Its rear electric motor produces 205 hp and 35.7 kgfm of torque. MG quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds. The battery has 64 kWh of gross capacity, with 62.1 kWh usable, and an Inmetro-rated range of 351 km. Charging supports up to 11 kW on AC or 150 kW on a fast charger; at the latter rate, a 10–80% charge takes 28 minutes.

Buyers can also choose zero-interest financing over 36 months with a 60% down payment. The article estimates an initial payment of R$131,280 and monthly instalments of about R$2,431.11 if calculated from the list price, but says the dealer must confirm the financing basis and final amount. MG’s expanding Brazilian dealer network and the S5’s 752 registrations in the first nine months of 2026 are also relevant considerations; the vehicle warranty is seven years or 150,000 km, and the battery warranty is eight years or 160,000 km.
