Omoda Jaecoo says it has sold more than 1.4 million vehicles worldwide in three and a half years, with sales across markets including Indonesia contributing to the milestone. CEO Shawn Xu described the company as one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive brands. Europe has been a particularly strong region: after two and a half years there, it accounts for 48% of Omoda Jaecoo’s global sales, according to Xu’s presentation at Omoda Night.

In the UK, the brand placed second among best-selling car brands in both August and September, while the Jaecoo J7 was the country’s top-selling model in September. In France, sales reached 3,000 vehicles within six months of launch and have since passed 10,000 cumulatively. Monthly sales in Spain and Italy each exceeded 4,000, the report said. Latin America and Asian markets were also cited as important contributors.

In Thailand, Omoda Jaecoo ranked third among brands, and the Jaecoo J5 EV led electric-car sales for several consecutive months. In Indonesia, Gaikindo retail data put Jaecoo eighth among brands so far in 2026, with 26,886 vehicles sold and an approximately 4% share. The Indonesian market recorded 676,223 retail sales over the same period.
