Omoda Jaecoo plans to expand from 79 countries to 99 by 2027, with Japan, South Korea and Canada among its intended new markets. At a recent Omoda Night event in Wuhu, China, international CEO Shawn Xu said the company would also deepen localization as it enters additional countries. The brand group says it has more than 1,700 dealers across its existing markets.
Xu reported cumulative global sales above 1.4 million vehicles in the group’s first three and a half years. For 2026, Omoda Jaecoo is targeting more than 800,000 sales, a 110% increase on the previous year. The company pointed to recent results in several markets: in the UK, it ranked second among best-selling brands in both August and September, while the Jaecoo J7 topped the country’s model sales in September. In France, sales reached 3,000 six months after launch, and the group’s cumulative total there passed 10,000. Monthly sales exceeded 4,000 in Spain and Italy and 6,500 in Brazil; in Thailand, the brand entered the top three.
In Indonesia, Jaecoo ranked eighth in 2026 retail sales, with 26,886 vehicles and about 4% market share, according to industry association Gaikindo data cited in the report. Omoda Jaecoo also said it had reached fourth place among best-selling cars in Pakistan within six months of launch. The article presents these results as the basis for the company’s planned international push.
