Perodua has repriced its Aruz seven-seater SUV for the first time since the model went on sale. The X variant now starts at RM68,900 and the range-topping AV at RM73,900, meaning both grades are RM4,000 less expensive than before.
On top of the permanent cut, the company is running a Malaysia Day promotion that takes a further RM4,000 off between September 15 and October 31. That brings the effective out-the-door figures down to RM64,900 for the X and RM69,900 for the AV.
The Aruz arrived in January 2019 and has become Perodua's second-slowest seller in the lineup. It remains the brand's only body-on-frame and only rear-wheel-drive product; its Toyota-badged twin, which shared the Sungai Choh plant, was dropped in 2024. Motivation comes from a 1.5-litre four-cylinder making 102 PS and 133 Nm, paired with a four-speed automatic.
Visually the SUV has evolved mainly through colour: Passion Red arrived in late 2021, Elegant Black followed in late 2024, and in August 2025 Vintage Brown took over from Electric Blue alongside a blacked-out styling package.
