Production-ready examples of the all-electric Denza N8 have been photographed without camouflage at a factory in China. The five-seat SUV is a separate model from the plug-in hybrid N8 introduced in 2023. It measures 5,150 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,820 mm tall, with a 3,075 mm wheelbase. The larger, six-seat N8L shares that wheelbase but is 5,200 mm long.

Denza says the N8 has a 205-litre front trunk with two-level storage, a drainable design and separate areas for wet and dry items. Its rear seats can recline to 146 degrees. The three announced exterior colours are Aurora Green, Deep Space Blue and Sunlight Orange. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit is visible in the photographs, though that does not establish which driver-assistance features will be available on each version.

Regulatory information lists two rear-wheel-drive variants with outputs of 320 kW and 370 kW. The all-wheel-drive e3 version pairs a 270 kW front motor with two 310 kW rear motors, for a combined rated output of 890 kW, or about 1,193 hp. BYD subsidiary FinDreams Battery supplies LFP Blade batteries rated at 105.792 kWh or 130.15 kWh. Listed CLTC ranges span 800 to 1,003 km; estimated WLTP equivalents range from about 648 to 812 km.

Denza has promoted second-generation Blade Battery technology and Flash Charging, claiming a five-minute quick charge and a nine-minute full charge. Those figures are manufacturer claims. An October 26 debut has been rumored, while the article describes the N8 as due in the fourth quarter.
