Xiaomi Auto said its Sky Nomad lineup accumulated more than 70,000 locked-in orders between its September 7 launch and October 7. The company announced the tally on Weibo but did not provide figures for individual versions. Locked-in orders indicate customer commitments, not completed deliveries; the lineup had already passed 10,000 orders within four minutes of launch, according to an earlier update.

The new vehicles started reaching customers on September 7, with a launch price starting at 209,900 yuan (about $31,160). Xiaomi said Sky Nomad deliveries topped 10,000 in September. The lineup comprises the five-seat N70 Pro and N70 Max, the seven-seat N90 Max, and the camping-focused, five-seat N90 Max Studio. Its extended-range electric powertrains mark Xiaomi’s entry into the EREV market, adding to the company’s battery-electric SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV.

Xiaomi Auto reported more than 40,000 total deliveries in September, up from 30,153 in August and its highest monthly level so far this year, though it has not disclosed the exact September figure. The company’s annual delivery target is 550,000; based on the reported minimum for September, it had delivered at least 286,475 vehicles in the first nine months, or about 52.1% of that goal. The expansion comes as China’s EREV retail sales fell 15.85% year on year to 616,000 in the first eight months, according to the China Passenger Car Association.
