Xpeng has introduced a Dark Knight design package for the P7+ electric sedan in China. The option is available on every version of the car and is priced at 10,000 yuan normally, but customers ordering during the limited-time offer pay 6,000 yuan (about $890). Xpeng said display vehicles would reach stores in batches.
The package gives the car Midnight Black paint, blacked-out badges and lettering, and exclusive 20-inch six-spoke wheels, alongside red brake-caliper covers. Inside, it adds a Lava Gray cabin, red seat belts and stitching, and metallic-look trim. Xpeng has not announced changes to the P7+’s powertrain, battery or driver-assistance hardware; the update is focused on styling.
The P7+ is offered as both a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and an extended-range EV (EREV). Xpeng cites a maximum CLTC range of 725 km for the BEV and a 1,550-km combined CLTC range for the EREV. The model also uses an 800-volt system, supports 5C charging, and can reach an 80% charge in 12 minutes, according to the company. The 2026 P7+ went on sale in China in January, with both powertrain types starting at 186,800 yuan. The design-only approach recalls styling editions used by Nio and its sub-brands, including recent packages for the Onvo L90 and L80.
