Xpeng has begun European customer deliveries of its Mona L03 SUV, with chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng handing the first car to a customer in Paris on October 13. The company announced the handover on October 20. The French buyer said the model’s driver-assistance technology influenced the choice, but Xpeng did not identify the vehicle’s trim or specify which assistance features are offered locally.

The L03 was unveiled in Munich on July 16 and launched at the same time in China and Europe. Xpeng described it as its first model to debut simultaneously in the two regions and said it planned to offer the vehicle in 64 overseas markets. The European version is a battery-electric vehicle, with a launch price announced from €35,600 (about US$40,030). In China, the model is sold as both a BEV and an extended-range EV, starting at 123,800 yuan (about US$18,420).

The French delivery follows the L03’s October 11 launch in Australia and New Zealand, where it joined the G6 and X9 in Xpeng’s lineup. The company has positioned the SUV as part of its push to take mass-market vehicles and driver-assistance technology to overseas buyers. At the July launch, Xpeng also said the L03 would be its first overseas model to use Google Maps Auto SDK for mapping, traffic updates and route planning. No French order figures were disclosed.
