Xpeng introduced its G9L flagship SUV in Europe on October 12, opening day of the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The model is priced from €74,990 in France, €74,600 in Germany and €74,990 in Belgium. Starting prices are €75,600 in Austria and €75,990 in the Netherlands.

European buyers will get an all-electric G9L with six- or seven-seat layouts. That differs from the five-seat version sold in China, where the SUV went on sale on September 17 with both battery-electric and extended-range electric powertrains. The Chinese model measures 5,120 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,782 mm tall, with a 3,100 mm wheelbase. Xpeng has said it intends to offer the G9L in 64 countries and regions.

The European launch follows trial production of the first locally built G9L at Magna’s plant in Graz on October 7. It is the fourth Xpeng model to enter local production there, joining the G6, G9 and P7+. The company began assembling vehicles at Magna Steyr in September 2025; a start date for G9L mass production or deliveries in Europe has not been announced.

The launch comes as Xpeng’s overseas business grows. September sales outside China reached 10,055 vehicles, up 100.94% year on year and the first time the monthly figure exceeded 10,000. For the first nine months of 2026, overseas sales rose 100.11% to 59,479, or 20.92% of deliveries. Total deliveries over the same period fell 9.20% to 284,367.
