Xpeng has put the L03 on sale in Colombia, expanding the Chinese brand’s local lineup with a compact fastback-style SUV offered as either a battery-electric vehicle or a plug-in range extender. Both Long Range Plus and PowerX Plus versions are listed at COP 115 million, according to the company’s website at the time of publication. The model is also due to feature at the Bogotá Motor Show.
The rear-wheel-drive L03 uses a 241 hp electric motor producing 264 Nm. The Long Range Plus pairs it with a 69 kWh LFP battery and has a claimed WLTP range of 520 km; it supports DC charging at up to 236 kW. The PowerX Plus adds a 1.5-litre gasoline engine-generator, which charges its 37.2 kWh LFP battery rather than driving the wheels. Xpeng quotes a combined range of up to 1,017 km and DC charging at up to 123 kW for this version.
The 4.65-metre SUV has a 539-litre cargo area and a 102-litre front trunk on the electric version. Cabin equipment includes a 15.6-inch central display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 540-degree camera. Driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and lane-keeping support.
The article positions the L03 against premium electric SUVs such as the BMW iX1, Mercedes-Benz EQA and Volvo EX30, while noting its price is closer to several lower-priced alternatives. Colombian coverage is five years or 120,000 km; the electric motor and battery are covered for eight years or 160,000 km.
