XPeng has officially introduced the L05, a five-seat electric family SUV, in China and plans to bring it to Europe in early 2027. The model will sit above the L03, a 4,650-millimeter-long SUV coupe, in the company’s lineup. XPeng is pitching the L05 as a spacious, comfortable and flexible vehicle for family routines, from school runs and shopping to weekend trips.
The L05 will use XPeng’s in-house Turing AI chip alongside its VLA 2.0 operating system. The system is designed to combine camera imagery, language understanding and driving decisions, allowing the vehicle to assess its surroundings in real time and respond to traffic situations. The source does not provide battery, range, powertrain or other detailed technical figures.
XPeng says it will disclose more at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2027, including technical specifications, powertrain choices and equipment for Germany. The company also plans to explain the capabilities of the driver-assistance system and other onboard technologies, and announce prices and the precise market-launch date. No European pricing or exact launch date has been provided yet.
