XPENG has appointed Filipino actress, host and recording artist Anne Curtis as its brand ambassador in the Philippines. The partnership is intended to introduce local consumers to the company’s electric vehicles and intelligent-vehicle technology as XPENG establishes itself in the market.
Curtis said she first drove the XPENG L03 and wanted others to try it. She described the car as smart and stylish and said the experience encouraged her to recommend electric driving. The article gives no price, technical specifications or sales date for the model, but reports Curtis’s expectation that more Filipinos will soon be able to buy an XPENG.
The appointment follows the launch of XPENG Philippines on September 25 as a direct subsidiary of the Chinese company. It is XPENG’s first subsidiary in Southeast Asia. The company says more than 40 percent of its workforce is devoted to research and development, spanning areas including AI, software, robotics and advanced mobility. By the end of 2025, XPENG operated in 60 countries and regions; its cumulative worldwide vehicle deliveries surpassed 1.2 million by July 31, 2026.
