Yamaha Motor Vietnam has introduced the WR155R, a 155cc dual-sport from the WR Series, at a suggested retail price of VND 79 million including 10% VAT. The bike is offered in Black and GP Blue, with first deliveries scheduled from September 25, 2026.
Its hardware is oriented toward trail use: a 41mm KYB fork with 215mm of travel up front, a Link Monocross rear giving 185mm of wheel travel, and a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel set wrapped in multi-terrain knobby tires. A generous 245mm of ground clearance, a high-mounted exhaust and an engine protector complete the off-road package, while the tank holds 8.1 liters.
Propulsion comes from a 155.1cc SOHC four-valve single with variable valve actuation and electronic fuel injection, rated at 12.3 kW (about 16.7 PS) at 10,000 rpm and 14.3 Nm at 6,500 rpm, fed through a six-speed gearbox. An Assist & Slipper clutch lightens shifting and smooths deceleration, and braking is handled by discs at both ends — 240mm up front with a two-piston caliper, 220mm at the rear.
Riders also get a multifunction LCD dash covering speed, revs, fuel and consumption data, hazard lights, and a YZ-style flat seat paired with wide footpegs for standing up on rough ground. The bike measures 2,145 x 840 x 1,200 mm, with an 880mm seat height and a kerb weight of roughly 134 kg.
