Zeekr used a rather theatrical demonstration to promote the seat material in its 2026 009 minivan. On September 21, brand officials released a video in which a foam sample from the MPV's seat was flattened by nine Zeekr-branded vehicles stacked up in weight — from the 1.9-ton Zeekr X through the 007, 7 GT, 7X, 001, Mix, 8X and 9X, up to the 2.9-ton 009 itself — for a combined load of roughly 20 tons. A 20-ton Farizon Homtruck H heavy truck then drove over the sample as well.

According to the company, the foam uses a three-layer "sandwich" construction: high-resilience foam on top, a high-density quick-response layer in the middle, and a softer base layer. Zeekr says this setup delivers 1.5 times the vibration damping of conventional seat foam, and that after the crush test the sample showed no structural change and no loss of damping performance.

The seats themselves are wrapped in Nappa leather, with second-row captain chairs that swivel 180 degrees and offer a zero-gravity mode, plus a power legrest, 22-point massage, heating and ventilation.

As a vehicle, the 009 measures 5,217 mm long on a 3,205 mm wheelbase. The entry-level Chinese-market version pairs a 310 kW (416 hp) front motor with a 108 kWh ternary NMC pack good for 740 km CLTC (607 km WLTP), while the dual-motor variant makes 680 kW (912 hp) from a 115 kWh pack rated at 720 km CLTC (590 km WLTP). Pricing runs 439,800–469,800 yuan (about 65,665–70,145 USD). China EV DataTracker figures show 12,405 units delivered from January through August 2026, a 12.8% year-on-year decline.
