BAIC and its premium electric-vehicle marque ARCFOX are scheduled to enter Singapore at the Singapore Motorshow in January 2027. Volt Auto Venture, a company within Volt Auto Group, has been appointed the authorised distributor for both brands in the market.

The planned Singapore line-up comprises four vehicles: BAIC’s B30e and X55 hybrid SUVs, plus ARCFOX’s T1 and T5 electric models. The report does not provide local prices, detailed specifications or specific on-sale dates for the vehicles.

Founded in Beijing in 1958, BAIC is described as one of China’s five largest automakers, with operations spanning more than 130 countries and regions. The group also has joint ventures with Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai. ARCFOX was established in 2017 as BAIC’s premium intelligent-EV brand and works with engineering company MAGNA on vehicle development and production.

BAIC reported global sales of 1.752 million vehicles in its latest annual performance report, including 308,000 exports. The Singapore arrival will give local buyers access to models from both the group’s hybrid range and its electric-focused premium marque.
