BYD has put the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7 on sale in Uzbekistan under the name BYD Ti 7. The launch took place on October 1 in Tashkent, during the opening night of the city’s third electric mobility carnival, which ran through October 4. The featured five-seat, all-wheel-drive version costs 513.5 million Uzbek som, equivalent to about 292,000 yuan or US$43,340. In China, the all-wheel-drive hybrid starts at 225,800 yuan (US$33,520).

The Ti 7 uses BYD’s DM-p hybrid system. BYD presents it as an SUV suited to everyday driving, family trips and outdoor use, highlighting its cabin space, comfort and all-wheel-drive capability. The model first went on sale in China in September 2025 as a plug-in hybrid. An all-electric Flash Charging Edition joined the range in April 2026, followed by a long-range DM version in August.

The Tai 7 recorded 32,144 sales in China in September, 5.14% more than in August and its seventh consecutive month of growth. Sales for January through September reached 192,923, bringing cumulative deliveries since launch to 279,182.

Uzbekistan is also a production base for BYD. The company’s factory with local partner Uzavtosanoat began operations in January 2024, with the first mass-produced vehicles leaving the line in June. BYD said it intends to deepen its local partnerships and expand its industrial operations and service network. At the Tashkent event, its Denza and Yangwang sub-brands also displayed vehicles.
