Changan presented the Deepal S07 Ultra PHEV at Auto Athina 2026 in Greece, adding a plug-in hybrid version alongside the model’s battery-electric variant. Prices begin at €36,000 (about US$40,280), while a higher trim is listed at €39,000 (about US$43,610). Buyers ordering at the exhibition are offered a €1,000 discount.
The S07 uses a 1.5-liter engine rated at 70 kW (94 hp) to generate electricity for an LFP battery. The article gives the pack’s capacity as 18.4 kWh in one section and 18.3 kWh in another. A rear-mounted electric motor produces 190 kW (254 hp), and Changan quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 185 km/h. The stated electric range is up to 100 km, with a combined range of around 1,000 km; DC charging is supported at up to 55 kW.
The car measures 4,750 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,625 mm tall, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. Its distinctive details include revised bumpers and black semi-hidden door handles. Changan officials cite CO₂ emissions of 49 g/km and say this qualifies the vehicle for zero corporate-use tax in Greece. Although marketed as a PHEV, its engine is described as powering a generator rather than driving the wheels directly.
