Chery made its first official appearance at the Paris Motor Show, held October 12–18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with the Q electric car and Tiggo 4 HEV as its main attractions. The Q, known as the QQ3 in China, is being presented in Europe as an affordable urban EV. The Tiggo 4 HEV, meanwhile, is beginning its commercial phase in France. Chery’s display also includes hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8.

The Q has a 41-kWh battery and a claimed range of up to 400 km on the NEDC test cycle. Chery says charging from 30% to 80% takes less than 17 minutes under specified conditions. The article notes that real-world range and charging times can vary with factors such as driving conditions and the charger used.

The Paris appearance comes amid a broader increase in Chinese automakers at the show: Reuters reported that 20 Chinese brands are participating in the 2026 edition, twice the number recorded in 2024. Chery’s Colombian operation also reported 3,982 registrations from January through September, up 284% year on year. September accounted for 784 vehicles, a monthly record for the brand and a 2.3% share of Colombia’s market.

The E5 led Chery’s Colombian registrations in September with 483 units, ranking as the country’s second-best-selling electric car that month. The iCar 03 added 141 registrations, 147.4% more than in September 2025. The article links those local results to Chery’s expanding range of electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
