A design registered with Indonesia’s Directorate General of Intellectual Property appears to depict the Luxeed V9, a premium MPV developed by Chery and Huawei. The filing names Anhui Luxeed New Technology and Chery Automobile as its holders. The vehicle has not been confirmed for sale in Indonesia, but the registration suggests the Chinese model could join the market’s premium MPV segment, where the Toyota Alphard is among the established players.

In China, the V9 is positioned as a range-extended electric vehicle. It measures 5,359 mm long, 2,009 mm wide and 1,879 mm tall, with a 3,250 mm wheelbase. Its powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with two electric motors and a CATL LFP battery offered in 37.017-kWh and 53.352-kWh capacities. The article reports a combined output of 154 hp, electric-only ranges of 158 km, 223 km or 210 km, depending on configuration, and a total range of up to 1,200 km with the gasoline engine in use.

The V9 is also described as having an 800-volt electrical system, Huawei’s lidar-based advanced driving system and a seven-seat 2+2+3 layout. Cabin features include two rotating zero-gravity seats with footrests, a ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, a refrigerator and helmet-style airbags. The Indonesian filing is for the design; the report gives no local price, launch timing or confirmation of market entry.
