Chery Group’s luxury brand Luxeed plans to launch the EHV V9 in Thailand in January 2027. Thailand is set to be the first ASEAN market for the model in right-hand-drive form, and the sixth Chery Group brand to enter the country. A vehicle shown in Thailand has the Chinese-market front design; the version intended for global markets will receive a revised appearance. Luxeed is due to present that global model in Wuhu, China, on October 21, 2026. The EHV V9 first went on sale in China in May 2026.
The range-extended MPV measures 5,359 mm long, 2,009 mm wide and 1,879 mm tall, with a 3,250 mm wheelbase. The rear-wheel-drive version pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 53.4-kWh NMC battery and a 309-hp electric motor. Its claimed NEDC figures are 265 km of electric range and 1,250 km combined. An all-wheel-drive variant uses two motors producing 520 hp, with claimed ranges of 245 km electric and 1,160 km combined. AC charging is supported at up to 6 kW; DC charging from 20% to 80% is listed at 15 minutes.
Cabin features include second-row seats that swivel through 45, 90 or 180 degrees, one-touch zero-gravity reclining, power-adjustable and folding third-row seats, air suspension and gesture controls for the sliding doors and privacy glass. The article gives no Thai price, noting that the luxury MPV segment will be a challenging market.
