The 2026 Paris Motor Show opens on October 12, and its exhibitor list includes 20 Chinese brands. The event is also set to feature seven confirmed global vehicle debuts. A preview of the show spotlights seven electrified models, spanning battery-electric, plug-in hybrid and range-extender designs.
Geely plans to present the Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid in Europe for the first time. Its export-market all-wheel-drive version combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine with two electric motors for 305 kW (409 hp), and a 29.8 kWh battery is claimed to provide up to 130 km of electric range. Lynk & Co’s 07 GT, the brand’s first station wagon, uses a plug-in hybrid system producing up to 390 kW (523 hp). Li Auto will bring its i6 electric SUV to Europe; the company delivered 16,979 of the model in China in August 2026.
Other featured vehicles include the large XPeng G9L, which is planned for commercial-scale production at a plant in Graz, Austria, and the Zeekr 9X plug-in hybrid, which is expected to reach European markets soon. Leapmotor’s D19 will be offered as both an extended-range and a fully electric SUV, while Smart is set to reveal the two-seat #2, an electric city car developed by Mercedes-Benz and based on the ECA platform.
The preview also gives substantial technical details for the models, including battery capacities, power outputs and range figures measured under CLTC and WLTP test cycles. The exhibitor roster spans brands such as BYD, Chery, Geely, XPeng, Zeekr and Leapmotor, underscoring the breadth of Chinese participation at the French show.
