In the Philippines this week, Chinese brands launched plug-in hybrids and electrics at ₱1.4 million to ₱1.9 million and kept building dealer networks, while two stories tested how buyers rate the experience.

What it means

  • The week's prices cluster between ₱1.4 million and ₱1.9 million, with plug-in hybrids at the upper end and a business-oriented EV at the lower.
  • Several brands are working on retention — owners' clubs, dealer openings, a customer-experience ranking — not only on new launches.
