Denza began taking reservations in China on October 26 for its redesigned N8 electric SUV, with the model scheduled to launch in November 2026. The five-seat vehicle marks a shift from the previous N8’s three-row arrangement. Denza has not disclosed a pre-order price; customers who place a 2,000-yuan deposit are offered a 5,000-yuan credit toward options.

The N8 measures 5,150 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,820 mm tall, with a 3,075 mm wheelbase. Its rear seats slide, and the luggage compartment holds 1,046 liters as standard. Cabin equipment includes a 30-inch central touchscreen and a 1.1-meter-wide head-up display. The SUV also gets BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging, the God’s Eye 5.0 driver-assistance system, DiSus-A air suspension and rear-wheel steering.

Buyers will be able to choose a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version with outputs of 320 kW or 370 kW, or a tri-motor all-wheel-drive model rated at 890 kW. Battery capacities listed in regulatory filings are 105.792 kWh and 130.15 kWh; the longest stated range is 1,003 km. A plug-in hybrid variant may follow. The N8 joins the six-seat N8L in Denza’s SUV range. The original N8, a six- and seven-seat plug-in hybrid, launched in 2023 and was discontinued less than a year later; the N8L arrived in 2025.
