Spy photos and Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology filings have revealed more details about a stretched GWM Tank 700. The six-seat SUV measures 5,445 mm long, 2,126 mm wide and 2,021 mm tall, with a 3,150 mm wheelbase. Compared with the standard five-seat Tank 700 Hi4-T, it is 340 mm longer and 65 mm wider; 150 mm of the extra length comes from the wheelbase, while 190 mm extends the rear overhang.
Images show a 2+2+2 cabin, with second-row captain’s chairs and a passage between them. The third-row seats fold forward to create more cargo space, though the photos do not establish legroom or luggage capacity when all seats are in use. The cockpit appears to retain a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch center screen, with physical switches below it.
Regulatory records list two powertrain configurations. The 2.0-liter turbo Hi4-Z uses an 185 kW engine and a 59.05 kWh ternary-lithium battery, with a listed WLTC electric-only range of 190 km. The other setup pairs a 265 kW, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor and nine-speed automatic; its battery capacity and electric range are not specified. The V6 version carries the GF badge, and GWM has said the Tank 700 GF is planned to launch by the end of 2026. The standard-wheelbase model recorded 850 China sales in September 2026.
