Foton has introduced the all-electric eView Connect van in Argentina, expanding the Chinese brand’s local commercial-vehicle lineup into the van segment. Imported from China, it comes in L1H1 and L2H2 configurations and is being offered for pre-sale. The first vehicles are expected at dealerships between December and January.
The L1H1 has a 50 kWh battery, a WLTC-rated range of 245 km and 7.2 cubic metres of cargo space. The larger L2H2 uses a 67 kWh battery, provides a claimed 310 km of WLTC range and offers 9 cubic metres. Both versions produce 167 hp and 245 Nm. Foton quotes a drag coefficient of 0.28 and says the van supports CCS2 charging; a 100 kW fast charger can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 35–50 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger is included.
Prices are US$45,000 for the L1H1 and US$49,500 for the L2H2, excluding Argentina’s 10.5% utility-vehicle VAT. Standard equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, rear doors that open to 270 degrees, dual front airbags, blind-spot warning and a reversing camera.
Foton positions the van within its Blueline alternative-energy range, alongside the eAumark electric light truck and Tunland V7 and V9 hybrid pickups. The company says it has sold more than 2,200 vehicles in Argentina so far in 2026 and aims to exceed 3,000 for the year. A new factory in Campana is also planned to produce six or seven models locally.
