Foton says its Auman D 1722 medium-duty truck is available for immediate delivery through dealerships across Brazil, with a special financing offer. Buyers pay 60% of the vehicle’s price upfront, while the remaining balance is divided into 12 installments at zero interest. The first payment is due 60 days after the financing contract is signed, giving operators time to put the truck to work before repayments begin. The offer was reported on October 23, 2026; no vehicle price or installment amounts were specified.

The Auman D 1722 is assembled at Foton’s plant in Caxias do Sul, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is intended for urban and regional distribution work. Its powertrain pairs a 220-hp Cummins F4.5 engine with a six-speed ZF 6S1000 transmission. Foton lists the truck’s legally rated gross vehicle weight at 16 tonnes, while its technical capacity is up to 18.7 tonnes.

The company says the truck’s chassis and components are designed to handle more than its homologated load rating, supporting durability in demanding operations. Foton also highlights a low curb weight, which can allow more payload per trip. The financing terms and immediate availability are presented as ways to help Brazilian transport operators add the locally produced truck to their fleets.
