GAC’s Saudi distributor, Aljomaih Automotive, has presented the XT80 SUV at the 2026 Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition in Riyadh, which runs through October 10. The display is a preview rather than the model’s official Saudi launch: the company says local road tests will begin soon as preparation for its market debut.

The XT80 is a plug-in hybrid designed for touring and off-road use. GAC cites a total driving range of more than 1,000 km and lists features including a 540-degree panoramic vision system, automatic parking, active noise cancellation and Nappa leather seats. Visitors to the exhibition can also suggest a Saudi-inspired name for the vehicle. The final name is due to be announced before the official launch.

In China, the vehicle is sold as the Yue 7, while XT80 is its name for overseas markets. Chinese versions offer front- or four-wheel drive and battery options of 28.3 kWh and 50 kWh. Their claimed electric-only range is 132–214 km under the WLTP cycle. The SUV measures 5.045 metres long, 2.004 metres wide and 1.933 metres tall, with a 2.9-metre wheelbase. Its five-seat cabin also includes Level 2 driver-assistance systems.
