Geely plans to bring its Battleship 700 plug-in hybrid SUV to Australia in the second half of 2027. The model will join the brand’s local line-up alongside the EX5 and Starray EM-i, as well as the Emgrand L EM-i and Monjaro EM-i. For overseas markets, it will be sold without the Galaxy sub-brand name. Details of the Australian version have not yet been fully outlined.
The Australian market is slated to receive the SUV’s most powerful configuration. Its three electric motors combine with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission to deliver a claimed total of 1,128 PS and 1,330 Nm. Geely quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 3.95 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h. A 47 kWh LFP battery is said to provide 170 km of WLTP electric-only range. The vehicle weighs 2,705 kg.
The Battleship 700 measures 5,085 mm long, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase, and seats five. Its off-road equipment includes six dedicated drive modes, a mechanical rear locking differential, dual-chamber air suspension and an 800 mm wading depth. Chinese-market prices are listed at 199,800 to 269,800 yuan. The source notes that the model’s Australian pricing and other local specifications remain unclear.
